One usually goes up the Honey Hollow Road (The west most leg of the trail, crosses over the bridge at the top, and descends the single track. This single track is relatively smooth (for Vermont) and only moderately technical

From Richmond, go south on Huntington Road over the bridge to the South side of the Winooski River. Take your first left to go east on Cocran Road for 5.2 miles to the State maintained parking lot on the Right (South)
This trail is essentially a long winding uphill burn. I rode in about a mile and then found that there is a ton of logging going on in the area. The tracks of the logging vehicles have left the trail absolutely non-ride-able (in my opinion).
It is not technical by any means.
