Trail Description
About this trail
Very hot and rocky trail only cover is at turn around point. Trail currently has several very narrow spots where your hands will be scraping bushes as you pass. Fairly flat with some rocky climbs. Trail is not heavily traveled. Trail is also known as Area 51 the name fits. There is an advanced trail that randomly intersects for those who really want the technical rocky stuff.

Review: Out and back trail is okay and no too overgrown. The off shoots aren't well marked and can be very overgrown. Plan plenty of time to get a little lost. Overall good technical sections and a fun ride.

Review: I rode the upper tracks with a lot of switchbacks a great work out and training. a bit rocky with a lot of brush to deal with long paints is the best, a good winter run and a no-fee area.

Similar Trail: red hills

Review: Great trail. A few up and down hills but a nice ride. Give this trail a ride if your somewhat near it. You won't be disappointed.

Review: Rode this trail today and reallyenjoyed it. Nothing too technical, lots of rocks makes it challenging! Real warm so bring your hydration pak! Lots of flats and some small climbs but nothing too tough and a good workout. Shade is minimal so be prepared. Trails are marked, tried a portion of black diamond trail, which runs parallel to the intermediate trail at times. Lots of brush and overgrowth on the black diamond portions but still recommend!!

Review: I hadn't been out on a real trail in about 2 years. This was the ticket to start again. Definitely not for beginners. No steep climbs or down hiils (I don't like downhill anyway). You have to pay attention, though. There are lots of rocks. The bank is steep in places on the lakeside, and the trail is narrow.
