Mountain Biking Grayville Falls Town Park

*****   Add a review
#17 of 112 mountain bike trails in Connecticut
#2,733 in the world

Warm up in the pines and then head up the ridge on Carmen's Dry Dream. Enjoy a moderate climb with several technical rock outcroppings along the way. Once you reach the fireroad at the top go right and head east. The New Cut connector is on the left. Follow this and stay right on the trail, this brings you to the entrance of Bob's Trail.

Bob's will leave you satisified, but there is more to come. Head back past the entrance of the trail and take your next left. This is a short connector that has several rocky features, and exits on another fireroad. Stay right up the hill and the entrance to Vengeance Rocks is on the left. After Vengeance Rocks, circle back up the fire road again and head back to the Ridgeline trail. 1/3 of the way down Carmen's Dry Dream, take the fork to the left onto The Playground, enjoy the jump line and a fast flowing descent returning you to the entrance!

Getting there
From hartford - 84 east to 384 east, exit 5, 85 south, follow signs for 85 (85 takes some rights and lefts!!), when you hit rte 66, go straight and look for a right (sort of fork) onto old colchester road, follow for a bit and look for a right onto grayville road - follow to end and park in turn around before bridge. Trailhead is right where you park (single track) or venture out on the fire road past gate..
