From I90 turn south onto exit 27, almost immediately you will see the parking. From the parking area ride up Winery road (paved) for 1/4 mile then turn right onto the gravel forest service road and for 2.1 miles you will climb to the top of the mountain where you will find the trail head underneath a big span of power lines.
