Mountain Biking Frost Woods

*****   Add a review
#39 of 111 mountain bike trails in New Jersey
#3522 in the world

This is a township park that is largely unmaintained but for a local ride it's a great place to get a work-out. I listed it as 6 miles but there are probably more miles of trails if you included every little piece, the place is packed with many older un-used trails as well as the main ones that were probably created from dirt bike riding in the 1970's. The best way to ride is just explore, you really can't get too lost in this area because it's not every large. There are quite a few jumps and features built by the local kids I'd assume but beware of holes dug to make them especially when leaves have fallen. Inspect such things before riding as they may not be sturdy or safe.

Getting there
At the corner of Old Stage Road and Summerhill Road East Brunswick, park in the back of the lot at the building diagonally across the intersection from the Shop-Rite shopping center. There is an entrance to the woods in that back corner.

Great park to learn the basics for MTB, jumps downhills and moderate inclines gives the beginner a decent challenge ! Fun for people nearby for sure

Great local gem. For those on the area it's a nice small park with lots of inner trails. A few jumps here and there with a couple of decent climbs. A couple that are somewhat steep none of which are that long. Definitely good for beginners.
