Mountain Biking Farewell
#69 of 305 mountain bike trails in Oregon
If you climb the North Fork trail, Farewell is a killer descent down the other side of the river, ending up back at Tumalo Falls Trailhead.
The singletrack is super flowy, with some very pedally sections up top, eventually steepening into a ripping descent! The trail tread is classic loose, dusty Bend singletrack, so take care.
Farewell also offers some gorgeous views of the nearby snowcapped mountains, and some excellent photo ops. Check out the trail photos!
(3.5 miles one-way.)

Tumalo Falls Trailhead
This is an awesome downhill trail. It is fast with tight switchbacks near the end and small rock gardens thrown in here and there. It was a little dusty when I was there in August, however the downhill and views were amazing which seemed to be out of the norm for the Bend area.Thank |
Amazing descent with incredible views and awesome singletrack! Some of the trails around Bend are flat and view-less... Farewell (and North Fork for that matter) don't suffer from that affliction.Thank |
