Trail Description
About this trail
The Dupree Park Family MTB Trails are designed as a scaled-down mountain bike trail system with the same trail use rules as the other MTB trail systems in the Woodstock area. This provides an environment that allows the rider to practice navigating a trail map and following guidelines such as the travel direction changing by the day of the week. Rated as Easy, the three main loops are beginner friendly with a wide, smooth trail tread. The grades are very low, and the trails are meant to be fun at slower speeds. Dupree Park also features a short bike skills trail which provides technical trail features designed to teach balance control and bike handling. These are excellent trails for the novice off-road rider and for those getting back on the bike after a long hiatus.

Review: Not a bad trail if you live nearby and want to get a quick ride in or if you have kids that are learning though Mosquito Flats is better than that in my opinion. Lots of roots, surface is a mix of dirt and sand.

Review: I visit this trail frequently and enjoy it because there is usually no one here. Very empty great for beginners like me who are just trying to get used to their bike. I wouldn't consider it a mountain biking trail though, no inclines.

Review: I give this trail 4 stars based on the exceptional up keep and work done. Now that being said this trail is for the newest of beginners. This is literally exactly one mile with almost no climbing. It's a great place for families with smaller children. This is a great outing with the family. Stop and feed the geese and then play on the nice play ground. It's a very family oriented park. It has three loops,, Lion, Tigers, and Bears. With a fourth loop that is a skills trail. All very simple.
