Mountain Biking Road #182

***   Add a review
#712 of 1,348 mountain bike trails in Colorado
#7,304 in the world

CR 182 spurs off of the popular CR 175/Ute Trail and climbs and climbs for about 5 miles to an elevation of over 9,800 feet. Consequently, this 4x4 road offers some pretty fantastic views of the Collegiate Peaks across the valley as well as the Sangres, and it passes through several beautiful aspen groves and high-alpine meadows. Where CR 182 ends you can continue on to a variety of other 4x4 roads, or create a loop by using CR 180 to CR 181.

As far as 4x4 roads go, this is a pretty fantastic ride! The epic views, challenging climbing, and beautiful aspen groves and high-alpine meadows make for an entertaining ride despite the wide track.
