Mountain Biking Beverly Lake

***   Add a review
#72 of 108 mountain bike trails in Illinois
#9965 in the world

Recommended trail direction - Clockwise
Estimated Duration = 35 minutes

The trail is very easy and there are some over grown single track paths. If
your in the Hoffman Estates/Schaumburg area, then yeah go ahead and
check it out. Otherwise you'll have a much better ride at Deer Grove in
Palatine. Even with so many of the trails closed off at Deer Grove right now.

Yield to horses and hikers – The horses in this area are not familiar with
mountain bikes, stop if you see a horse and wait for it to move on. Be
courteous to others.

Before you go
  • No Drinking water
  • No E-bikes permitted
  • No Fat biking allowed in winter
  • No Fee required
  • No Lift service
  • No Night riding allowed
  • No Pump track
  • No Restrooms
Getting there
From Chicago, take i-90 west to Beverly Road.
Exit North and turn left on Higgins Road and go half a mile to the preserve
entrance to your right.
Turn right into the preserve and park.

Only if your board and feel like exploring a little bit. If you that close to this trail, you may just want to hit Deer Grove in Palatine instead.
