Mountain Biking 495 Jump Trail
#165 of 285 mountain bike trails in Virginia
#8,119 in the world
JUMPS ya know! There are two lines one can take while on this trail. The first line is like a Freeride course, but slightly smaller jump-wise, and the second will also have jumps, but they are much more geared towards beginners. The bikes one can use on this trail can be anything with 26 to 27.5 (650b), 29ers might have some difficulty.

DIRECTIONS - From I-495, take exit 52A to 236 West (Little River Turnpike). Take first left onto Pineridge Rd, then immediate left onto Accontink Pkwy. Take a left into Americana Park. Trail begins at the parking lot & proceeds under 236. Beneath the highways, you will quickly cross the creek on your right via bridge. About 20 yards after crossing, there is a single track trail to the right which leads to the track (track is in the first patch of woods on the right after crossing the creek).
From Wakefield park -> CCT north -> go under 236 (Little River tpk) bridge that immediately crosses into Annandale-> go over a bridge that crosses the creek that is right next to you while going under the 236 brigde -> IMMEDIATELY stop after going over said bridge -> find a little dirt trail that should be on your right -> follow the trail until you see a bunch of dirt ramps - which is the 495 jump trails.
These coordinates are completely wrong. Someone who has been to the trail.. could you please post correct coordinates or better directions??
Thank | Edit |The coordinates on this are wrong
Thank | Edit |Jumps are full on... Assuming the track is dry.
Thank | Edit |BEWARE - the map icon will lead you astray (somewhere in Dumphries) & the written description describes a drive to Wakefield Park followed by a ride the rest of the way.
A less confusing route is to drive directly to Americana Park & begin the bike from there.
