Jon at Boulder Bikesmiths is amazing! I usually bring my bike to a couple of other shops, but I had a flat tire and the bus dropped me off near his shop, so I lucked into him. He not only is more knowledgeable about bikes than most bike repairmen I've encountered, but he actually really loves this stuff and considers each new bike a challenge to fix in the best way. I was so impressed with all the info he blurted out to me about my bike when I was just there to get a new tire that I decided to bring in my other 3 bikes to get fixed/serviced by him. Some were very complicated fixes, and he went over and above to take on these challenges. The price was shockingly not high too! I would highly recommend that you bring bikes to Jon here! I'd walk miles with a broken bike to take it there rather than across the street where it's closer.
All I bought from here was a an axel and put it in myself, but the price was right. Good deals on the few things they sold. Staff super friendly. Mostly a rental place. Seemed like a pretty decent rental selection.
