WTB has been really cool in emails and spot on with their tire recommendations for my rims, riding style and area. I started with trail boss front and rear but use it only on the rear now with vigilante 2.3 up front. The trail boss 2.4 IS NOT wider than the vigilante up front. This has been a great combo so far in winter through spring conditions as well as in the desert.
Pros good grip whether you're turning, slowing, climbing, etc
Cons poked a hole in one on it's first ride with a trail rock. wouldn't seal enough to continue
Got for $20, so I love them, but you might want to consider something else if you are buying at full price
Pros
Good grip
Good tread pattern
Cons
Thank |Not amazing in sand
Can wear down quick
Great tire that you can use on the front or the back, makes a world of difference in your riding!
Pros
keeps rolling well
nice tread pattern
nice side knobs
durable
Cons
Thank |not the best for super gnarly riding
