I've modified the bike to 1x10 as soon as I got it, with a 30t chainring in the front. There was no need for any chain guide as the rear derailler has the locking clutch mechanism. I've had absolutely no dropped chain thus far. This made the bike simpler, lighter, and more efficient. I highly recommend this setup.

I've been out 20 times on this bike so far and I've hit everything from rocks, to logs, to jumps, to steep climbs. This bike handled it all majestically and well beyond my expectation.

If you're looking for a solid free-ride machine, I definitely recommend this one.

    - Frame design/construction (given you pick the right size for you..)
    - Drive train and suspension components are well-matched and work together flawlessly
    - Climbs like a mountain goat
    - Fairly light for aluminium frame

    - Possibly the tires that come standard (Bontrager XR3 Experts), but that's minor.

One of the best climbing bikes i have ridden. The most comfortable cockpit built right now. Point it downhill and it is right at home. The bontrager rims hold up very well, entire build is top of the line.

I live in boulder, co and this bike does it all from front range rides to the toughest Moab rides. The all around package for the Person who likes to eat up rocks, climb, hit drops and rally corners.

Rear suspension system including the DRCV Shock, 12mm rear through axle and ABS/EVO for braking. Adjustable front fork keeps me centered on the climb. E2 head tube and frame provides a responsiveness that is tough to match.

    None found.
