Get it... you will be amazed... I rock mine single speed and I climb faster than most with gears. I encourage a good front suspension air fork which will make this ride able to handle any trail you are comfortable with
Pros Beautifully built, flexible yet STRONG and FAST ... frame weighed in at under 3 lbs with headset and mounts..
Cons Geometry is a little tough for the tighter turns and jumps but still wonderful for xc
f1) Get wider bars, a good seat and a bigger fork
2) Get an extra set of wheels (carbon wide laced with fat tough tires) for those rough rough days. Then save the Vuelta wheels it came with for the light XC and city days.
To complete mine, I put on 780mm wide bars and a short 60mm stem. I also converted it to 1x10 with a Wolf Tooth 42 GC. It now sports nice thin flat pedals. The fork was sold and I now have a 140mm Rockshox Revelation fork on it.
It really smokes on the downhill and now takes a mean pounding on the toughest steep, rock, rooty trails in the mountains here (BC Coast). It can really run with the best hardtail all mountain bikes.
Pros Very light plus great frame quality and high-end component set.
* 4 pot Avid Elixir Trail 9 brakes
* SRAM XO drivetrain
* Rockshox Reba 100 through axl fork.
The brake, drivetrail and fork are a very high value setup. The frame is second to none on the titanium frame market. The welds are beautiful. The chainstays are short which adds to the maneuverability on the trail.
Overall this bike is an unbelievable value. Believe!
Cons cheap seat.
only fits 2.35 biggest back tire.
fork is only 100mm (which is good for XC but shy as an all-mountain bike)
top tube standover is also XC oriented. I never have any problems with it but it is higher than I'd like on tight technical trails. So far no problem (fingeres crossed)
After a lot of research, I bought the Ti frame and Reba fork deal and built mine from that. I went with a 2 x 9 drivetrain with combo of sram XO/X9 components, fsa SLK carbon bars, Ti WTB seat, Stan's tubeless Crest wheels, Schwalbe Racer Ralph's tires, Elixr R brakes, Crank bros Ti eggbeathers.
Mine is right about 23.5 which I thought was good for the money I have in it which is right about $2400-2500 (not including a few parts I already had to put on it).
I built it in 2011 and have had no problems at all. The bike handles so well over everything. Stable at high speed and is also a very good climber. It's been well tested all types of east coast terrain, rocks, sand, mountains, etc. I am very happy with it 3 yrs and 10K miles later. Highly recommended for this price point.
After a lot of research, I bought the 29er Ti frame and Reba fork deal and built mine from that. I went with a 2 x 9 drivetrain with combo of sram XO/X9 components, fsa SLK carbon bars, Ti WTB seat, Stan's tubeless Crest wheels, Schwalbe Racer Ralph's tires, Elixr R brakes, Crank bros Ti eggbeathers.
Not sure why thier's is listed at under 20lbs. Mine is right about 23.5 which I thought was good for the money I have in it which is right about $2400-2500 (not including a few parts I already had to put on it).

It's hard to find even aluminum HT 29er with these high-end components for 2k. Plus you get sweet and smooth ride that only Ti offer.
Bike is very responsive on twisty techy singletrack and acceleration is great. It has been designed with all-day riding and racing in mind.
The only thing I've replaced after first ride - is grips. Those Ritchie simply didn't work for me.
Also I put a chainstay protector, so no noise anymore from chain slap
And handlebar is very narrow (I'm riding other 29er with much wider one) but it was easy to get used to.
It's a bargain and I recommend to everyone check this bike - deffinatelly worth a look.
Pros Light, responsive, great components
Cons Grips didn't work for me, but it's personal preference
This bike is such an incredible value that if you are considering this don't hesitate to go for it.
I originally bought a BAMF carbon 29er and sent it back. BAD frame design! And was going to go for another, higher end carbon but decided to give the Moto Ti a shot- best decision!
Update: after several months of beating on this bike, it keeps coming back for more. I have a great carbon road bike too but I keep coming back to this Moto.
In New England however, the Kenda Small Block 8's simply don't cut it. Learned that, when I lost it on a turn in soft sand ground, flipped over and broke my shoulder ... being clipped in didn't help the matter either!! Dumb!
Upgraded the rubber to GeaX 2.3/2.2 front/rear. And some good bar end grips.
Pros Weight, weight, weight! and sweet handling. Smooth XO system and overall "eye candy" looks.
Cons Previously rode a Scott alum. hardtail 26 and have a carbon road bike, so getting used to the 29er's geometry may be just a temporary thing. It feels like I can't get a full leg stroke. Could use a bigger gear for greater top end speed.
This is my first titanium bike and I am very happy with it. It is almost as light as my road bike and I'm very impressed by the handling and the response of the fork. I have not ridden any of the other titanium bikes that retail at two and three times the price, but so far, this one is serving me well and I bought it from a company that features "Satisfaction Guaranteed" so my investment is safe.
Pros Very light weight!. A scant 24# outfitted with Eggbeater Candy Pedals. Comfortable geometry, 100mm fork, hydraulic disks, XTR derailers. All top end components at an unbelievable price!
Cons Tires. Factory equipped Kenda Small Block tires instantly fill with mud. I would switch to Kenda Klaws unless you're on totally dry surfaces.
UPDATE!
I completely thrashed the wheels. The Vuelta XRP line is ok, but for a 220# guy like myself, they're not strong enough.
