The Intense 29er is a great all around bike. It is my first 29er and it took a bit of time getting used to but I love it. It rides really quiet and is fast up and down the hill.
Pros Light, Fast, Long Travel, Quiet, Great Climber
Cons Not as nimble as smaller bikes, which is to be expected...
Press fit BB
VPP linkage collecting dirt/debris
Pros Climbs extremely well
Descends extremely well
Light weight for its intended use (28.4 lbs w/o pedals)
Stiff frame
Aggressive geometry
Predictable handling
Excellent Fit and finish
Stellar looks
