I have demoed the same bike that i have now (the Ibis Mojo 3 incase that wasn't obvious) just with better components that including carbon rims. Carbon rims definately gave bike a more playful and nimble feeling due to rolling weight loss.
Pros Light weight, stable and nimble with the semi steep head angle yet able to handle the drops and rollers, all around great trail bike that can hang with the enduro downhill guys on mostly anything.
Pros - Almost unlimited traction
- Climbs as well as many XC bikes because of its short chainstays
- Relaxed geometry lets it descend like a demon
Cons - Limited space for a water bottle which all but requires you to wear a pack for water and supplies.
- The plus size is limited to 2.8 as the maximum tire size. Manufactures need to make more tire options.
