I wouldn't recommend someone of my size riding this as a first bike since it's meant for someone taller, but if it's your size or you can handle it, it's great!
Pros So light, stiff, super responsive
Cons Standard wheels are a little heavy; sometimes cornering is a little dicey, but that might be because it's too big for me
Overall a great bike from giant. If you can afford to spend the extra money to get the 1 instead of the 2 you will be quite happy with the marginal component upgrade. Great climber, if your looking to begin cross country racing this is a great budget bike to get started on.
Pros Feels like it rides on rails
Great climber
fairly light stock weight
Cons Geometry doesnt inspire downhill confidence
sterring can be a bit awkward at times
