This thing shreds SE Wisconsin trails! You may have noticed I listed the Racing Ralph tires as both a pro and a con, but that is because they are good for racing (obviously), but are not very good for regular riding. Besides that this thing climbs like a demon and descends surprisingly well. For a hardtail it is surprisingly good at suppressing trail chatter. The only thing I could suggest for improvement is shorter chain stays so you can manual easier. This is perfect for any XC (maybe trail?) rider that loves hardtails as much as I do.
Pros 29er
Strong
Racing Ralph tires
Marz fork
Elixir brakes
Hardtail
Wheels set up tubeless nicely
This is by far the best bike I own so far. Fits like a glove with great response in the fork. When I took this on the trail for the first time, I rode faster, and was actually able to keep up with the folks that have full suspension, competitive bikes. Treks of this quality cost 1.5 times as much. This bike is perfect!
Pros Hydraulic disk brakes, light aluminum frame, perfect fit, high quality parts and great price
Cons Tires had too little traction on leaves and muddy turns. Perfect for the sand pits though.
