Perfect for me. I'm very fit, but this is my first mountain bike. This is a great value, and my bike isn't holding me back from anything. I ride a lot of intermediate trails in Georgia, lots of rocks and roots, and this bike hasn't let me down.

I swapped out to platform pedals right away, and I am going to add a dropper post ASAP. I might add a Bionicon c-guide to cancel out some of the chain slap.

    Pros
    Frame, fit, shifters.

    Cons
    Saddle, pedals.

I have had this bike for a couple months. Got around 100 miles on here. I ride intermediate trails and some technical stuff with it. First thing I upgraded were the pedals as the stocks ones are plastic. I put Shimano spd-a530 on it. These are actually lighter than the stock pedals even though they are metal. I also dumped the Suntour xcm forks even though they took the abuse I dished out. Upgraded to rockshox 30g 100mm. Bike feels much different now and definitely better on the trails with better response that inspires more confidence. Next to upgrade will be the drive train. Don't need the 3x9 setup as I rarely get out of the 2nd chain ring. I recommend this for anyone who doesn't have thousands to drop on a bike and is either a beginner or getting back into mtb.

    Pros
    Price for what you get.
    Brakes
    Fast
    Durable
    Fairly light
    Looks good

    Cons
    Forks
    Pedals
Seat (some riding shorts with gel inserts solves that problem)

I would definitely recommend this bike as a beginner to intermediate choice with a fork upgrade.

    Pros
    Great price
    Fit and finish is excellent
    Decent components
    Smooth ride

    Cons
Fork is heavy and worthless, but that was the only real upgrade needed.

Great first bike for a beginner like me. The quality I've experienced for the price point ($570)is spot on. I've had it since August and logged around 100mi so far. No issues and it took all the abuse a newbie who has only finished 4 rides without a crash of some sort. I would defiantly recommend this bike to anyone starting out in the sport. It's given me the bug and I'm sure it will last me many years.

    Pros
Durable, responsive, disk brakes and great looks.

    Cons
Minor adjustments needed after first couple of rides.
