Model/Year: 2017 Blizzard -50

Pros: Very well build, high end parts, light for a fat bike, pretty fast and nimbly, handles well in the snow

Cons: Can't think of anything other than a bit pricy but mine came with Bluto fork. $3.500. But if you have the money this bike worth it.

Recommendation: I would recommend this bike I really enjoy riding it in the winter. I only ride Rocky Mountain and only had great experience with them.

Model/Year: 2016 Rocky Mountain Blizzard -50

Pros: Agile, fun and playful trail bike with fat wheels. This bike is a blast to ride and turns heads wherever it goes. I highly recommend getting FAT, especially for the Winter season.

Cons: -Front ring may be a little small; depending on where you ride
-stock wheels can be a little heavy, but are tough

Recommendation: -change stock tubes to Super Light 26" tubes or go with a 27.5" tube to save 1/2 pound of rotational weight per wheel, OR set it up tubeless for the same effect.
-Add a dropper post if you have some big downhills to ride

Pros: Light weight. Good trail geometry.

Cons: Rear hub is complete garbage. Cannot fit Surly Lou on 100mm rim even though frame has 190mm rear spacing.

Recommendation: Can't recommend this bike. Rear Hub failed on first ride. Thru axles would not stay closed. Read many similar accounts online.

Model/Year: 2015

Pros: Good build Quality, Light!

Cons: Standard cockpit basic and cheap!

Recommendation: Took Delivery of this beast, the Rigid version, with a few upgrades. Nates, XT Rear Mec, XT Brakes. Fantastic Machine!

Pros: Front suspension Fast Nimble geometry Light Quality components

Cons: A little pricey

Recommendation: This is an incredibly capable bike... so much so that its my all-purpose shredding tool. It might not be as fast as my 29, but you feel quick and completely invincible when you're on the Blizzard, regardless of conditions. Killer bike!
