Mountain Biking Windy Gap Trail
#78 of 404 mountain bike trails in Georgia
This trail can be ridden as an out and back, shuttled from top to bottom, or
as part of a greater loop incorporating the Milma trail and the Tibbs trail.
Ridden south to north, it's a killer doubletrack climb that turns into technical
singletrack near the top of the mountain. Ridden downhill, north to south,
it's a beast of a downhill that has TONS of opportunities for airtime and
some sick banked turns to keep up your speed. Try to keep your eyes on
the trail even though the surrounding views are amazing. No matter how
you decide to ride this one, you are gonna love it.

marked with a Windy Gap Cycle Trail sign. Follow FS 218 2 miles to the Windy
Gap Parking lot. An alternate start would be the top of Grassy Mountain at
