SRAM has just announced that they’re bringing some of the technology from their Guide brakes to new versions of the Code brakes. According to SRAM, the new Codes “use proven SRAM Guide design and technologies with a larger PiggyBack™ reservoir and 4mm bigger diameter pistons in the caliper to provide consistent and reliable power for all heavy duty applications. Bleeding Edge™ technology keeps maintenance as easy as it can be.”
SRAM says that these brakes are designed for aggressive riders who brake hard, or for slowing down heavier bikes and riders, whether they’re going uphill or down–aka, ebikes.
Code RSC
SRAM claims that the new Code RSC brakes “deliver an extra 15% power to shine in all heavy-duty applications.”

Level TLM Black
SRAM also included new Level TLM brake in their email, but hasn’t provided as much information about them. SRAM said that the new Level brake “has a championship-winning pedigree, and is ready to take all of the punishment you want to give it. Level TLM puts proven SRAM braking performance and consistency at your fingertips, in a sleek, lightweight design optimized specifically for cross-country and light trail use.” No weight, MSRP, or availability was provided.
