I recently found a mountain bike blog called Sacred Rides Mountain Bike Holidays and they’ve posted some good stuff recently.
The first post I really enjoyed was about Bikes Without Borders, a non-profit organization that the Sacred Rides guys started to bring refurbished bikes to impoverished areas around the world. Recently the guys brought some bikes to a small village in Peru and checked in on a previous donation to find that the bikes had made a huge impact on the local economy. Awesome.
Yesterday the writer (not sure who it is or if it’s a “team blog”) claims to have found the best mountain bike trail in the world in Ollantaytambo, Peru. Great photos and descriptions, if you’re into adventure mountain biking this is a good blog to bookmark. Check it out!
