Mulberry Gap in Georgia Rebrands as “Adventure Basecamp”

Mulberry Gap, a mountain bikers' favorite in Georgia, is rebranding itself as a basecamp for adventure.

When mountain bikers talk about riding in Georgia, one name tends to stand out more than others: Mulberry Gap. Neither a trail system or a mountain biking zone on its own, Mulberry Gap has styled itself as a mountain bike getaway centrally located to some of the best singletrack North Georgia has to offer. Since opening its doors in 2006, Mulberry Gap has seen its guest list expand to include all types of outdoor adventurers beyond just mountain bikers. So today, Mulberry Gap simply wants to be known as an “Adventure Basecamp.” Along with the name change, Mulberry Gap has rolled out a crisp, updated logo to communicate the expanded focus.

From the outside it appears little if anything will change for mountain bikers who already know and love Mulberry Gap. The facility will continue to host mountain bike skills camps and festivals, mountain bike industry get-togethers, and individuals and groups of mountain bikers in onsite cabins and camping spots. And next month the 350-mile-long Trans North Georgia bikepacking race will roll through Mulberry Gap, a welcome rest and resupply point along the route.

Ultimately the rebrand should help riders and non-riders alike answer the question, “what is Mulberry Gap?” It’s a basecamp for adventure, just as it always has been.
