Bolle Adds MIPS Version of Trackdown MTB Helmet

The Trackdown MIPS keeps the same overall aesthetic and feature set of the original, and adds MIPS for extra safety.

Bolle just announced a new mountain bike helmet, the Trackdown MIPS. The brand introduced its first dedicated mountain bike helmet, the Trackdown, a few years ago, with features like a a “sunglasses garage” and a removable shell system for blocking wind in winter.

The Trackdown MIPS keeps the same overall aesthetic and feature set, and adds MIPS for extra safety. The helmet uses what Bolle calls “AViD progressive EPS” to provide progressive shock absorption upon impact. The 3-position visor is said to be goggle-friendly and the retention system wraps all the way around the inside of the helmet to easily customize the fit.

The Bolle Trackdown MIPS is available in three sizes and colorways, and retails for $169. Available at Amazon.com.
