We are coming closer to cool spy-story cameras with this tiny 27g action cam. The new GO 2 from Insta360 is said to be the size of a human thumb, with a 120° view from its f/2.2 lens, and 1440p recording capabilities. The stabilization is also reportedly good, and you can check out a sample on the brand’s YouTube page.
One main issue with action cameras is that the fun outlasts the batteries. Insta360 designed a charging case to holster this little machine so that you can recharge the battery while climbing to the next filming location. Run time is a reported 30min out of the case, and 150min with the camera mounted in the charger. The 63.5g case is included with the camera, as are several mounting accessories and a lens cover, all for $299.

The cute little camera is waterproof up to 4 meters in case you need to add some surfing shots or ride in a downpour. There are loads of different filming modes to customize the shot with the companion app.
