This 23lb Specialized Epic with a Stealthy Rear Shock Just Went on Sale

The stealthy, sexy Specialized Epic World Cup Pro full-suspension, cross-country bike is on sale and comes with SRAM X0 Eagle Transmission and RockShox ultimate suspension.

The Specialized Epic is an absolute cross-country weapon and the full-suspension bike underwent a major redesign just last year, tucking the shock underneath the top tube. Compared to some other bikes the Epics seem to be in short supply at the moment, except the Epic World Cup Pro, which is not only available in all sizes, it’s also on sale!

This World Cup Pro build, which retails for $9,000 but is currently on sale for $6,999, features a SRAM X0 Eagle Transmission wireless drivetrain, a RockShox SID SL Ultimate fork with BRAIN tech, RockShox-Specialized SIDLuxe WCID Ultimate shock and Roval Carbon wheels. All told, Specialized says this World Cup Pro build weighs 10.34kg (22 lb, 12.7 oz) for a size medium frame. With this sale you’re getting a Pro build at an Expert price.

If you’re not into the XC thing, we also found some deals on some pretty cool Stumpjumper mixed wheel builds. This $4,499 Stumpjumper LTD (normally $6,000) comes with a SRAM Eagle Transmission drivetrain and a RockShox Pike Ultimate fork. And talk about a rare bird; the Stumpjumper LTD Evo ($4,999 $6,300) not only mixes wheels, it also ups the rear suspension travel by 20mm compared to the standard Stumpy.

Finally, if you’re in the market for an eMTB and are size medium-ish and taller, the Specialized Turbo Levo (alloy) is $1,300 off right now.
