Specialized is now Selling Mountain Bikes Online, and Not Just Through Their Own Website

After announcing online sales through the brand's website, Specialized mountain bike frames are now available at Competitive Cyclist as well.

In late January Specialized announced they would begin selling bikes online through the Specialized.com website. Now, it seems select frames and complete bikes will be available through other online retailers as well.

Competitive Cyclist email sent to customers on February 26, 2022.

Competitive Cyclist is advertising that many popular mountain bike frames — including Stumpjumper, Epic, and Enduro models — are now available to ship directly to consumers. At this time the retailer is generally only offering Specialized frames, though they are selling some complete kids’ bikes including Jett and Riprock models.

Bicycle Retailer reported in January that Specialized would offer their bikes for sale through the Specialized website, though there was no mention of including third-party online retailers like Competitive Cyclist at that time. However, Competitive Cyclist and select online retailers have been selling Specialized apparel and components like tires and saddles through their websites since at least 2019.

We’ve reached out to Specialized for comment and will update this post with any additional information.
