I don’t know if you’ve noticed this, but online retailers are getting sneaky with their pricing and availability. That bike that’s 60% off? Chances are only one size XXS bike is still available (or none at all). Worse, many retailers are using algorithmic pricing that sets one price for size medium bikes, another for size large and XL, and yet another for XXL based on supply and demand.
According to our survey data, 88% of Singletracks readers ride a medium, large, or extra large mountain bike. So, we checked with our retail partners to find bikes available in those sizes that are the best value.
