Nukeproof Adds Mixed Wheel Option to their Giga and Mega Models

Folks who already own a V4 Mega or Giga 290 will be able to purchase a mix-kit later this year.

Nukeproof’s professional athletes have been racing on mixed wheels throughout the season, and now the dual-diameter option is available for us commoners. The video above shows Katy Winton and Elliot Heap sliding their respective mixed-wheel bikes to some respectful results in the Enduro World Series.

The 160mm Nukeproof Mega has been available with either 27.5″ or 29″ wheels for a while now, and this update allows for the full-fledged mix that maintains the bike’s intended geometry and suspension characteristics. The mixed Mega 297 will retail for $2,500 or €3,200.

The more recently released 180mm Giga receives the same mixie treatment, and Winton has been holding a top ten slot with this massive sled in 2021. Mixed Giga models will sell for $2,600 or €3,300.

Folks who already own a V4 Mega or Giga 290 will be able to purchase a mix-kit later this year. Head over to the Nukeproof site for additional info.

The Nukeproof Mega 297 and Giga 297 are sold online at Chain Reaction Cycles.
