Fezzari Splits the Signal Peak into an XC and Trail Models

Direct-to-consumer brand Fezzari has updated their trusty full-suspension, cross-country mountain bike model, the Signal Peak, and split it into a dedicated XC build and a short travel trail bike build.

The Signal Peak will now have 100mm of front and rear travel and the Signal Peak Trail will have 115mm rear travel with a 120mm fork. The bike will still use Fezzari’s Tetra-link suspension.

Fezzari made the Signal Peak even lighter than before with a carbon frame weight of 1,760g on an SL, size medium frame. The brand says it’s about 1.5lb lighter than the previous model. The SL frame is matched with the shorter travel Signal Peak build. The frames can fit two water bottles inside the front triangle.

Now, the Signal Peak will use metric shocks rather than imperial allowing for better compatibility with current suspension and better bushing overlap. The metric shocks also allow them to change the suspension travel from 100mm to 115mm without affecting the geometry.

The Signal Peak XC build and Trail build also separate themselves with component details. The Signal Peak builds can come with XC touches like rigid seat posts, suspension remotes for switching modes on the fly, and 2-piston brakes, while the Trail build gets heftier touches like 4-piston brakes and a dropper post.

For the most part, geometry has stayed pretty conservative on both builds. The HTA slackened by 1° to 67° and the STA stayed the same at 75°. Chainstays measure 430mm across sizes, and on a medium, the wheelbase is 1,165mm — only a few millimeters longer than the previous — reach is 448mm, and standover height is 735mm.
