SORBA is hosting a big bash down in Macon, GA this weekend that promises to rival any of the big summer MTB festivals. Camping Friday and Saturday night, a tour of the Thomson factory (where they make stems and seat posts), a 4 hour and 20 minute endurance race, games (including my personal favorite, bike limbo), bonfires, raffles, and group rides are just some of the things going on this weekend. Man, I almost forgot it’s January!
I plan on going down for the tour and some of the festivities Saturday afternoon and maybe getting in a morning ride at one of the local trails in the Macon area like Arrowhead or Dauset (the official SORBA group rides will be at both these trails on Sunday).
