When it comes to mountain bike handlebars, wider is better… up until a certain point. Wide bars can offer greater control and comfort — or worse control and comfort if they’re not properly sized. Plus there’s the whole issue of getting caught between tree trunks on rides in the forest.
Over the past several seasons many riders have been experimenting with different handlebar widths, finally settling on the number that works for them.
