my first mountain bike was a trek 920 i think . it was a fun bike i was in nyc at the time i rode that thing all through central park. friend was suppose to ship it to me and he never did man was i pissed.
i think it depends how much you are financing. i financed mine and it was just over 1k and i have 12 months to pay it off with no interest so i didnt think i did to bad. i mean who has just over 1k laying around to go buy a bike? at least not your average joe. no way i would finance some of the higher end bikes like santa cruz or a yeti etc. i mean some of the prices on those bikes could be a down payment on a new car. just my two cents.
giant talon 3 is like 550.00 I believe that’s a good bike and good brand
does it have to be motobecane? i mean yes i see they are on sale but is that the only brand they have on sale at this time? personally i would go with the highest you can afford in most cases the components on the bike are better the higher you go. so maybe you wont get snapped derailleurs again.
