Hey now I just purchased a jamis Dakar xc 09 model for my son,
from jensonusa for 599 which I thought was a good deal for his first
fs bike. I have a jamis 06 Dakar xlt2.0 which came with the spv rear shock
which I have became really used too,anyhow his bike comes with the x factor
glyde rear shock with a reinforced spring I have not ridden it yet
but was pressing it down and it feels extremly hard compared to the spv
my ? Is this typical of these shocks should I consider getting something else?
What are the pros and cons for this type of shock
