Prime riding season is gonna be here before we know it! Who’s got their summer riding plans dialed in already? Anybody going somewhere cool?
Personally, I’m going to stick around the Southeast, but try to hit up some places I haven’t been before. Those include:
– Windrock in TN
– Knoxville, TN
– Bailey Mountain Bike Park in NC
– Huntsville, AL
I’m also trying to make a return trip to Snowshoe, WV, to ride some DH.

Planning on exploring more of Utah and Idaho since I moved here last summer. I really want to hit up Moab this fall though if I can swing enough vacation days at it.

Hoping to make it to Ellijay GA/Mulberry Gap this summer. Other than that just local and short trips to Santos and Alafia River.

Gonna try to hit the Allegrippis- about 3.5 hr drive from me.
Also most likely doing Northern Utah: Park City, Wasatch Front, maybe venture down near Provo. I don’t think I’ll be able to hit Moab this time but I will go there someday for sure!

Possibly Whistler! DH stuff is my favorite, jumps, drops, etc., so going to Whistler would be a dream come true. Hopefully it happens!

Since my son will be starting college in Boise, I’m looking forward to spending some time in Idaho.

Here are some things on my to-do/wishlist:
- Interior British Columbia
- And other stuff closer to home, including:
- Two Elk, Vail
- The Whole Uncalada, Montrose
- Colorado Trail: Silverton to Durango
- Santa Fe, NM
- …and some epic Bikepacking routes close to home, hopefully!
- Maybe some stuff in the Midwest, including:
- Duluth, MN
- Cuyuna, MN
- CAMBA, WI
But we shall see what the summer provides!!

Two family vacations are taking me to Utah and Wydaho so I’m def doing Grand Targhee and Wasatch Crest or Deer Valley Bike Park (or both!).

You done Mt St Helens yet (Ape Canyon/Plains of Abraham)? Pretty close to you and quite spectacular.

Actually getting way out of my comfort zone and riding in Ecuador for 4 days in a couple weeks!
Probably lots of southern Wisconsin riding and helping build a trail or two. If all goes well I’ll be hitting Duluth, some Minneapolis Trails, CABDA trails and Hickory Ridge.
Hoping to enter my first enduro race this year. Just to see what it’s about.
Might get to hit Kingdom Trails this summer. And always holding out hope to get to Moab again in the fall or Monarch Crest in late summer.

It’s funny, I live in Moab and ride our trails year-round (except those in the La Sals) so when summer comes around I’m always looking to get off the red rock and into the mountains. This year we’re hitting:
- Flagstaff, AZ
- Steamboat Springs, CO
- San Juan Mountains, CO (Hermosa Creek!)
- 3 week trip to the PNW to ride Oregon & Washington (Bend, Oakridge, McKenzie River, Bellingham…any other suggestions?)
- Hoping to hit the Tetons for a few days
Already stoked to mash some pedals!
