Hi All,
Appreciate if you guys can help me out here.
I have been riding my 26" hardtail since 2010 & I am itching to get a 29er hardtail soon.
I have narrowed it down to 2 bikes & I hope u guys can advise on the following key parts comparison:1) Fork
– SR Suntour 29 XCM-HLO 100 vs
– Rock Shox Recon Silver Air 29er, 100mm2) Drivetrain
– FD Shimano M390-9 / RD Shimano Deore XT-9 [9 Speed] vs
– FD SRAM X-5 / RD SRAM X-7 [10-Speed]3) Brakes
– Tektro Draco 180/160 vs
– Hayes Dyno Comp Hydraulic Disc, 7”/6" RotorI am not experienced in the parts area since I have started on an entry level bike & am now looking for my next upgrade. Should I focus more on the fork or drivetrain? 9 or 10 speed? Really am stuck now. Looking forward to your expertise & advice. Thanks in advance 😀

Get the one that fits and rides better and/or more comfortably. Parts can be upgraded later as needed.
