What are the MUST RIDE trails in Palm Desert, CA?

Just lookin for some local trail knowledge. I’ll be in Palm Desert for about 5 days in March on business. While I do have to work everyday, I will have the afternoons off and will be renting a rig. I’d like to hit the best trails and any suggestions will be much appreciated.

A lot of the area around Palm Springs/Desert is tribal land and MTB is NOT allowed, and they will write tickets and/or confiscate your bike.

I had to go to work there a couple of years ago and I had the same dilemma.

It’s a neat place though, overall…..really quiet and laid back.
