I’d love one, and all my bikes have Thomson Elites, but man, $450? That’s a big chuck of change…

I totally agree, from what I understand they are not selling for that in shops…especially if you have a good relationship with them. Also I have seen them for sale online once in a while.

I added one to my Stache 8 last September….love it. Wish I had added it sooner. It is a steep price but is worth it if you ride alternating DH & climbing trails. Additionally, this Social Security eligible rider finds it easier to mount up with the seat dropped.

I’ve got a Command Post on my Stump Jumper and absolutely love it. It’s not caused a single issue in years. If I put one on one of the other bikes, I’ll probably go this route. That way, It would take three of them to approach the Thompson retail price and I doubt I’d break that many 😀

I am happy that Thomson sent me the post to test, I don’t know if I could have afforded it otherwise. With that said it is the best post I have ever used and love the craftmanship. For the amount of time I have ridden it I have had WAYYYYY fewer issues with it over the KS that it replaced.
I liked the look of the command post, but I wanted a post that had infinite adjust.
9point8 is coming out with a new fully mechanical infinite adjust post out soon that looks promising….I hope the price is not too crazy!
