The weekend ride that didn’t happen

My wife decided that it would be a great weekend for a little camping trip with a bunch of people many that would just bore me but one thing she didn’t know was that the camp she chose has some great riding. So everything was all set plenty of people to keep her occupied hell you wouldn’t even miss me. So what happens the mountain area I was planing to ride caught on fire a few days before we were set to leave. I had the bike running like a well oiled machine. I was ready to kill it Big news in Southern California. Oh yea the place was Hurkey creek.
