‘The Atherton Project’ Reality Online Show

Hi guys, Jeff has very kindly let me share some nfo with you about a new online series about The Atherton family!

Red Bull’s brand new reality online TV series: ‘The Atherton Project’ is a fly-on-the-wall show tracking the exploits of the most famous family in mountain bike history. Follow British riders Dan, Gee and Rachel Atherton as they compete in the 2009 UCI World Cup Series and the World Championships in Australia, where Rachel and Gee will defend their 2008 crowns.

The series delves deep into their lives, especially life away from the training routines and competitions. Viewers will get an unprecedented insight into what makes the amusing trio click as the series unfolds. All aspects of family life will be uncovered; nothing will be left to the imagination, even the areas usually reserved just for family and friends!

i have been following it online already through redbull on utube. it really great to watch. it provides some humor, and a real on the spot scene of what its like on the intnl. comp. level. it funs to watch, just wished it came on TV…………….. hint hint 💡 💡

that was cool. dang that blows big time if dan’s shoulder got torn up badly. i really don’tunderstand why he went to the 4th lane either. it was all great though. i really got laugh when i saw stevie dancing. the party coverage was good to. gee looks like the ladies man type in beginning segment. haha 😆

Hey just watched Ep. 9 it was cool. the head phone thing was kinda odd, but the training that Dan was doing was cool. Him building his own run and doing it over and over, training…looks like a blast to me. Was a good thing that his shoulder came out for the better. I was just wondering if Rachel will be 100% come opening competition in 2010?

Oh okay i didnt notice that ya’ll had your own channel/profile on youtube. Should have known that any how.

Anyways, I just got done watching Ep. 10. That sucks for Dan. But that is right about the advice being given at the World Championship. By the time your at that point, in the words of Dan, "The buillshit stops". But hey maybe it just wasen’t one of his good days. Gee seemed confident going into the comp. But dang you can really see how close of team and family they are when Dan is commenting on Gee and the DH comp. Not the same feeling and all as last year. I know how that be when your about to go big for something and your team mate or even bro/sis aren’t there like nomally, cheering you on. That can get in your head and mess with your mind set alot.

haha yeah its a shame about the 4X at the World Champs but nevermind, at least as you say, Rachel is on the mend and will be back in the picture soon!

hey will the series pick up next year/season. i think i can say on behalf of those of us who watch it really do enjoy seeing the webisodes. especially those like me who have never nor ever will get the chance to make it to a UCI, World Champ/Cup event. your episodes really show what it is like at all the events that was covered. thanx for the show and keep em’ coming.
