Come join Trips for Kids Tampa, BAADR Mountain Bike Club of Tampa, and the Wilderness Trails Association for the celebration of the IMBA’s "Take a Kid Mountain Bike Day" at Morris Bridge Park in East Tampa on October 3rd from 9am to 2pm!
We will start around 9am with a "Basic Training Class" for new riders, guided rides for every skill level, prizes and drawings donated from national and local sponsors, and a great BBQ lunch! All of this right on the Hillsborough River! A suggested donation of $6 per person will go to help "Trips for Kids Tampa" a new local mountain bike 501 (c)(3)charity targeting at-risk inner city youths and introducing them to the great sport of mountain biking. Trips for kids will also have some loaner bikes and helmets for those who may not have one.
The event will be held at Morris Bridge Park 3 miles east of I-75 on Morris Bridge road /Fletcher Ave exit. the park is located on the right side directly on the Hillsborough River.
