Hello Singletrack community,
So for some reason the cage and jockey wheel tension on my rear derailleur won’t return all the way back down to keep tension on the chain. I have taken off the cage and jockey wheels and accessed the spring in the clutch housing and cleaned it very well and re-greased it, how ever this didn’t seem to help much. What could be cuasing this? Is this an obvious sign of a bent derailleur? Please let me know your thoughts/tips of what it may be and how to fix it if you know how, if a picture would help better to get an understanding of what im talking about just let me know and I can try and add some to this forum.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Jake,
I see you posted your issue years ago, but I have the same problem at this moment.
I see you were able to open the clutch. Hoe did you do it? Just unscrewing doesn’t feel like the solution.
Thanks in advance for your reaction.
Pieter
