I’m amazed at many (most) of the incredible photos uploaded by several members of singletracks. I often find myself thinking “That looks unreal!! I want to go there!!! Where is that?” and hoping that there’s something besides “Uploaded by….” in the description. It would be a huge help to me if folks could add the same of the trail, or location to their photo uploads if possible.

I find myself asking the same thing. Many pics I see on singletracks end up as my desktop pic…

If you’re talking about photos that show up in the news feed on the homepage, lots of times if you click on the photo, you’ll get sent to the dedicated photo page. Usually near the top of the page you’ll see some information about the trail that the photo was taken on, if the photographer chose to upload it to the associated trail database page.
If not… then we all might be out of luck 🙂 I agree, I always like to know where the photo was taken!
