new shifters

ok my bike is a specialized hrxc..bottom of the line beginners bike and thats fine cause i still consider myself a beginner. however the bike came factory with shimano revo twist shifters and i cannot stand them. On several occasions i have shifted out of gear without wanting or meaning to. what should i upgrade to to solve this problem? any suggestions will be appreciated…….thanks

Shimano Rapidfire shifters work great for me. Great performance and great ergonomics.

That is odd that specialized put those kind of shifters on one of there bikes. I can relate when you said that you change out of gears without meaning to, it sucks. Anyway, hope it works well for you.
