hey i live in northeast maryland and for a long time ive been riding for a year just XC but i would like to give downhill a try so if you no of any places with in a 4ish hour drive that would be great.
Also i would like to no any really nice XC trails that are nice.

When I used to live in MD, Whitetail Ski Area used to have lift serviced MTB. They were out north of Hagerstown, MD, just over the PA line.
My brother in law lives in Balto, he rides at Patapsco a lot. There’s a lot of great riding in central PA.

are you sure theres bike lifts there i looked it up looks just skiing

Well, in the summer time, they just used the ski lifts, with a little rack on the back of each chair for the bikes.
Most ski areas change their website info per season (I know they do here in VT, anyway…most of the places around here that do bike lift service don’t mention it on their winter sites).
I’d give them a call and ask.
I am pretty sure several of the resorts in WV (Snowshoe, Canaan Valley, etc) also offer lift service for bikes.
