Just did a layaway at my LBS on a Cannondale Scalpel 3. Just curious since this is actually considered a XC bike if it will hold up to single track trails with moderate 2 to 3ft drops along with roots and rocks. I’m on an old cannondale 26er hard tail now. If anyone has any opinions of this bike I would love to hear your feed back good or bad…

I don’t see why it wouldn’t handle that. Looks like a pretty solid bike.

I ride a scalpel on very rocky single tracks trails and it handles flawlessly. Haven’t had any issues with durability but I don’t go down stuff that I can’t climb up.
