I want to swap my 27.5-100mm bottoms from my suntour XCM’s to my 120mm suntour XCR’s. Is this possible?

It doesn’t look like they are compatible. The XCM uses 30mm stanchions while the XCR uses 32mm stanchions.
Why are you wanting to swap lowers?

My 26” has 120mm forks and my 27.5 hardtail only has 100mm of travel. I was wanting to put the 120mm on my hardtail. Thanks for the info, guess im just gonna have to get a new set.

Yeah, it’s not going to work. The lowers aren’t what dictates the amount of travel, so even if you could swap them, you wouldn’t get 120mm of travel.

Just saw this and for what it’s worth, unless you can somehow find lowers for cheap on ebay, pink bike, etc. You’ll just have to go for a new fork, not a bay way with many on sale often. Hope you get sorted out soon. Take care.
