I’m working with a Rotary Club that building a playground in Moorhead Minnesota, and we’d like to also add a bike skills park. Do you know of any Minnesota grant opportunities or other sources for bike skills parks? Here is more on the park vision: https://www.fmrotaryfoundation.org/page/natural-playground

Looks cool, good luck. We are looking for this type of thing at one of our local parks too.

We just started planning for a skills park and pump track in my town. Our village board just approved a resolution so that the village can apply for some grants. Wisconsin DNR has some grants that they are applying for. Maybe check to see if Minnesota has some grants. I know Santa Cruz bicycles has grants, maybe check other bike companies. IMBA has grants. As we look for donations, we are thinking about approaching local businesses to sponsor a feature and get a plaque at the feature with the business on it.

I would start in the local community. Local bike shops and clubs. Then it is time to look toward grant options. In order to secure grants, you will need to have a community interest in the purpose of the grant.
