I live in Houston and right in the heart of downtown in Memorial Park are some nicely maintained trails by the city and local clubs. The park closes trails when they are too wet to ride which is every time it rains but when they are open they are the best around. I would also suggest the Anthills just west of the city the trails are not maintained as well but the big air park is killer!

There are a ton of trails in Texas. I live about halfway between Austin & San Antonio and there are lots of trails close by and if you’re willing to drive an hour or two there are endless options.

Go to DORBA.org
Dallas Off Road Bicycling Association is the largest mountain bike club in the country. Pretty wild when you consider we have no mountains. However, we do have more than a dozen club maintained trails.
Check out the website for more information on North Texas Riding than you can digest.
